Here are answers to some of the most common questions about working together.

If you’re still unsure, that’s completely normal - feel free to reach out on my contact form.

  • A home organizer helps you create systems that make your space easier to live in and maintain. I guide you through decisions about what to keep, how to use your space, and how to set up simple, functional systems that support your day-to-day life.

  • I work across the areas of the home where organization matters most: kitchens, closets, pantries, bathrooms, and other storage spaces. I also support clients during transitions such as moving or downsizing.

  • Yes, decluttering is a natural part of the organizing process. I’ll guide you through deciding what to keep and what to let go of in a way that feels manageable. At the end of each session, I can take donations and e-waste with me, so you’re left with a space that already feels lighter and more settled.

  • It depends on the size of the space and the scope of the project.

Some projects can be completed in a single session, while others take place over multiple days or phases. After our initial consultation, I’ll provide a sense of timing so you know what to expect.

  • During the consultation, we’ll walk through your space together and talk through what’s working, what’s not, and how you want your home to function.

I may take photos and measurements so I can thoughtfully plan before our organizing sessions. This also allows me to recommend or source any products in advance, so we can use our time together efficiently.

  • It depends on the project and your preference. I work independently for much of the process, with a few key decision points along the way where I’ll need your input. These can happen in person if you’re home, or remotely via text or FaceTime if you’re out of the house.

  • Yes, if needed, I can recommend or source organizing products that fit your space and the systems we’re creating.

I typically start by using what you already have, incorporating new pieces only where they add real function. When products are needed, I’ll guide you toward options that align with your preferences. The goal is always to keep things simple and useful.

  • Yes, many clients choose to continue working together on a periodic basis.

The systems we create are designed to last, but life doesn’t stay static. Ongoing sessions allow us to make small adjustments over time, whether that’s seasonal wardrobe changes, children growing into new sizes, or preparing for busier seasons like holidays.

The goal isn’t to redo the work, but to make intentional updates so everything continues to work for you as life changes.
